I talked to one of the creators of Clipmarks and they straightened the problem out, comments not showing, they fixed it. OK. @tanyamme ..OK what I meant was unsolicited attacks from a clippers self centered misunderstanding then escalating it to attack another clipper who came to my defence.Making up lies and insults like "sober up" referring to nonexistent other issues off line to save face.This was followed up after she blocked us with a couple more uncalled for nasty comments unrelated to again the clip which I removed so that those interested in the clip would not again be side tracked.OK thus the enjoyment is not there if attacked for setting the record straight.To some it can be like an ego tripping competition to get most followers,& with some it equates to dominating others which of course self worth does ... EG, Its not like it was but it's still pretty good. I'd like to see some clipmandments being practiced a bit more. "What the hell is this shit" brought us together. At times I long for the old days. CM gave me the courage to be myself and grow and think and learn. Without it my need for diversity and acceptance might have not been satisfied. Who would have thought such a little app on Firefox would have been the catalyst for so much change in my life? Would the change have happened without Clipmarks? Maybe . . . maybe not. I am grateful for the opportunity to know and meet the people on clipmarks whose paths would have never crossed or touched mine otherwise. Clipmarks gives us an understanding of the WORLD wide web and the diversity of the people that use it. If one has an open mind there are no limits to what can be learned about the peoples of the world. Clipmarks closes the gaps that create misunderstandings that lead to wars and hatred. We are different you and I, We have different passions that drive our daily lives. Clipmarks shows us what we have in common and that commonality breaks those barriers we are affronted with everyday. I sometimes enjoy reading the comments almost as much as the clips - sometimes! Thank-you for whatever is done to reduce destructive rants. Huh. And all this time I thought, because it's fun! Now you've all gone and complicated my brain again. It was so much easier when I was just a simple minded clipper. |
