Apollo 15, 1971 Astronaut James Irwin works at Lunar Roving Vehicle - but what is the object emerging from behind the hill in the background?

I think that one is another hill sloping in the opposite direction of the one in front of it. Shadows darken out part of the hill leaving what looks like an object suspended in mid-air. What do you think cakebelly?
