adult stem cells again prove their worth. Still no treatments for embryonic stem cells

Um, isn't this boy being treated with his own stem cells from this umbilical cord, which his parents had banked?

Embryonic stem cells are controversial for a number of good reasons, but to call banked umbilical cord blood (and the stem cells within) "adult" seems a bit misleading.
