jatfla says: Should we be hearing about this? I thought it was only the fear-mongering Cheney who was putting out warnings. But the Director General of MI5 admits that the "Security Service alone does not have the resources to maintain surveillance on all it's targets". Another calls Britain "a 'swamp' of jihadists." We even had VP Biden warning us that this President "will be tested". No wonder he doesn't want to spend much time in the White House...you hear a lot when you're there and buck stops with YOU! You heard it hear first. Mexico biggest threat of next decade. 1. collapsing government 2. potential refugee issue. 3. drug cartels have almost complete control over the government. 4. They are the 5th (I think) largest economy with much of their wealth coming from oil. 5. Islamic extremists have set up base with cartels. 6. There have been thousands of people murdered and kidnapped at the border and it is fast becoming a land of lawlessness. This is a situation that is just going to get worse. Willhelm...and at this terrible time of crisis we have a wuss as President. They don't know their bottoms from first base. They are in panic mode. Since he doesn't know what to do he leaves Washington to go on 'campaign speech' trips. He needs a crash-course in Presidential conduct but there's no one to instruct him (and he really isn't prepared) so is Congress left to govern?? I've read history but I never thought we'd be *part* of changing history. I wanted to just continue along as we always have. Our Country did not need a novice/completely incompetent person at the helm. I think the time for 'judgment' has begun. Time will tell.... Just my opinion. But when the rest of the world's press is telling us that Obama in not ready...well, where were their voices before the election? Words...merely words...will not protect us. Is our Nation like the one which dealt with past attacks? Our access to the internet seems to confuse us with the vital from the serious. And yet Obama acts like he's still campaigning for the job. I'm afraid now that the kumbaya party is in charge we will get hit again, and it may take that for some to realize the threat facing our country was not just a scare tactic by Bush or Cheney. |
