Very interesting especially for the literals. "Changes to make it more accessible to more people" The evolution of christianity and the bible continues. If the Bible is the God words, as we belief, we should not change a single letter. Is anyone surprised by this? Any person using even the slightest rational thought and critical thinking can see the bible for the mythological piece of garbage that it is. The religious are constantly getting trounced in theological debate vs reality with their own bible being the largest piece of evidence to destroy their claims. It only makes sense that these people, that are not interested in any real truth, would simply change the source they use to defend their needful belief to make their claims easier to defend. It's apologetic excuse making at its finest. If the Bible is the God words, as we belief, we should not change a single letter. If you read the Bible in any other language than the original, it has been changed already. As I read, are the US versions mostly translated from Greek transcriptions, the European, older translations, are made out of Latin Bibles. If I think about Luther-Bible, compared to the New-World-Bible - I find many chapters in complete different text and meaning. But the OT was written in Aramaic or ancient Hebrew - the originals are not available. Who knows, what may been written there? Surely not words of god! Some laws are contrary in the different chapters - and god should be inerrable! |
