This particular article and it's viewpoints are directed at Britains population, not the U.S. It could easily be directed towards the U.S. but the 2 countries are nowhere near the same. Most of the bobbies over in England carry batons or nightsticks, not guns, much less full auto weapons.

England also has more cameras watching the general population than any nation right now. Maybe you don't hear about alot of the terror plots that are thwarted or stopped because the media simply doesn't wish to cover them. It is their choice after all, not ours.
