In Vancouver this past weekend a young couple, just having got engaged to be married were crossing a street at an intersection. They were hit from behind and killed instantly. The driver tried to run but was caught. He was 18 yrs old, drunk and from the sounds of it possibly driving a stolen vehicle. His lawyer is asking for understanding on his behalf because he's actually a good kid. Sad thing is he'll probably only be sentenced to less than 2 yrs in jail. (We do have the toughest D And D laws in the country) Two families were torn apart.
