Osolage says: So this blurb really doesn't talk about how Jaiku measures up to the multi-platform messaging that Twitter supports. I suppose I'll have to find more information about Jaiku. On the surface, because it can aggregate all of your feeds, it might make sense to recommend to my wife. There are Groover and Dodgeball, too. Jaiku have more features than Twitter, I think.. Thanks for the comment. I had never heard of Groover before. I'll have to check that out. So I read a little more about Twitter vs Jaiku. It seems that Twitter has more conduits for sending and receiving nanoblog posts. I haven't heard of Groover before. But I also read something yesterday about two important figures at Dodgeball having left recently, because they felt they weren't getting enough resources from Google. Dodgeball never really seemed to pick up speed IMHO, anyway. The thing that seems most appealing to me about Jaiku is the aggregation of feeds. But I use 30Boxes, which allows me to aggregate my feeds also. To me, the combination of 30Boxes and Twitter is going to work out best, I think. |
