The constitution is supposed to be the governing document of the Land Of Fruits and Nuts, and by definition is CANNOT be illegal. It is now a part of the document defining the legality of the government. Even Attorney General Moonbeam reviewed it and tried to stack the deck by renaming the amendment. And still the voters of a looney bin like Kaleefornea decided that destroying the building block of society isn't a good idea. But of course, what it really is is that gay marriage is 30-0. Every single time its on the ballot the electorate doesn't want to destroy their society. Never once has gay marriage been approved by any el... The proposition is unconstitutional, because it oppresses a minority. I don't care if 99% of people hate it; your own constitution says you can't do it. If you care so much about the constitution, then you must reject Proposition 8 as well; otherwise, you're just a hypocrite. Colorado, I think you're really over-reacting. You don't have to be so afraid. Nothing bad is going to happen to you. Interesting that the story before the election was all about "right wing rage". And I notice that there are conservatives rioting all over America - no, that's the 3 year olds who still can't get enough approval from their parents. No, that would be the drastic upswing in threats against the president elect. When Liberals are upset about something, they wage legal protests. When Conservatives are pissed off by something, they resort to the secretive and illegal. Ask the Secret Service about Right-Wing Rage. But of course, as an anally-retentive conformity-lover, you won't understand that. Liberals destroy any enemy. They ignore constitutions, laws, morals, anything to get whatever they want at the second that they perceive they want it. And that's what this points out. The fact that its not really being reported by the media simply reinforces their work to destroy society and morals as well. Funny, Canada has been in Liberal hands for most of my life, and they have destroyed no enemies. The upheld the constitution, made laws to protect people from the predations of the free market, gave rights to minorities that conservatives wouldn't give the time of day to, and shockingly enough, LISTENED TO THEIR CONSTITUTANTS!! Those are all things that Conservatives will never do. The enemy you're barking at is the conservatives. You need to get your act straight, because you've been drinking the Kool-Aid too much. The Republicans have sold you on the idea that all of their evils are actual the evils of Liberals, and you've been stupid enough to believe them. Look at what real Liber... Liberals destroy. They might have "nice" motives, but they end up destroying everything they touch. And the coming destruction of this country goes all the way back to the Ponzi scheme that FDR created to get everybody dependent on government - Social Security. The $53 trillion of unfunded liabilities there will be the end of the American democratic experiment. Followed by lots of messes that progressives will also try to blame on everybody else but themselves. Come back to reality. Conservatives are the ones bombing the hell out of other countries. Liberal heal; conservatives destroy. A country that doesn't take care of its own people is no country at all. BTW: that $53 trillion debt was created by [b]CONSERVATIVES[/i], not Liberals. Get a clue; you're tilting at the wrong windmill. Liberals are the salvation of society; conservatives are just the patsies that the rich use to keep their stranglehold on society. Social Security was created by conservatives? Well, only if you believe a socialist like FDR was conservative. Its always fun to see what lies liberals tell themselves. The burgeoning deficit was created by the conservatives. They also made government bigger than it has ever been before. This is the reality of conservatives; they're all clueless and hypocritical. They don't believe in what they say, and care only about themselves (i.e. sociopathic). Unlike you, I face the truth about the world, rather than living in a rose-coloured fantasy world, like conservatives do. Only in that make-believe world is what I believe a lie.
