Dogs, always faithful till the very end. More a friend than mankind Agreed skwirlinator. Nothing loves as fiercely and faithfully as a dog. My little 'woofie' is my heart on legs. You are EVERYTHING to that pooch. Love him back- its ok Terrifying for those poor kids. How sad! The biggest shame is that this never should have happened because these pitbulls should have been put to sleep before this attack... the pitbulls' owner had surrendered the pair to dog control officers, and demanded they be destroyed, claiming they had launched unprovoked attacks previously.quite honestly, i don't think owning pitbulls should be legal. the risk-reward just isn't in favor of having them on the streets. He knew what he was doing when he was defending the children, and he knew when it was over they were safe because he had guarded them.
