I love libraries....and I make great use of what they have to offer.

funny, I love them too but buy more books then I rent out! guess I am lazy!

I don't understand why would anyone not use the library.

Ever since I was a small child a well-run library has been a sacred refuge from the overly active, overly noisy frenetic entity called society.

Used properly a library can be many things. Most importantly, for me, a personal university ... one where wisdom may be gleaned firsthand, without the sometimes unhelpful interpretation placed upon it by somewhat less than altruistic professors with their own axes to grind
