Say bin Laden is just trying to draw attention to himself, acting 'as if,' he's still relevant. #5. Say this is just a money-making scam, trying to raise funds for himself. #6. Point out that it's Bill Clinton's fault. Everything bin Laden says makes sense and the White Hou (cont) and the White House replies and media coverage sounds like pablum you'd feed a baby. Of course, bin Laden deserves to be killed but to pretend that he doesn't have anything to say or that all his talks are "rants," is just nonsense. The fact that he is still alive and talking is a great humiliation for the United States: It let 3,000 civilians get killed in the biggest attack on US soil by a foreign power (even bigger than death toll of Pearl Harbour) and more than seven years later he has not been defeated, he's still alive, he's still spreading his message. [His message, btw, if you've never heard the reasons he gave for the 9/11 2001 attack on the US World Trade Center - his rea... Well...there was a little relaxation after the Obama victory. Political leaders are never 'perfect," I'd suspect -- but I got it embedded in my heart somewhere along the line that we should really do our best to elect --- to put in office Better Leaders -- and Obama was a great victory for that. But it seems I often find myself annoyed at government policies and wars. It might be the lies and charade propaganda that gets under my skin: false words or third-grade ideas and meanwhile blood spilling in the streets and money going down the drain. It just never struck me as a good way to behave and waving flags about. (I'm certainly not a traditional religious person and I often wonder why? ... |
