Despite the beaming rhetoric, it's the same old, same old. IMO, the unquestioned alliance between Israel and the US are at the root of a lot of USA's problems. Until that alliance is addressed, what's going to change? Really? US foreign policy needs a COMPLETE overhaul. .. not just pretty words.

I agree.

Do I need to say that I agree absolutely.

I turned against Hillary after her speech in Jerusalem a year ago. She must know what was behind the Monica BJ and what it cost Bill's reputation just to get Pollard released. She has no problem selling her soul for power, IMO.

I know that I have been bombarding clipmarks with Kucinich related clips. I do this because he has few ways to get to the people. The media just pretends that he does not exist.
He votes what he says. Never has he voted for the war or war funding. Nobody owns him; no lobbys.
If only there were a way to give more people access to his positions.

And who owns the media? It seems to me like they are trying to 'pre-assassinate' Kucinich, by filtering him out of the news and the public eye. If he ever did get elected, I wonder if "they" would let him live? Literally. Look at what happens to good people in office who really want to change things and who try to go against the status quo. (JFK?) The powers that be, working behind the scenes, are not interested in honest people making it to the top. Is the American election process really fair? Kucinich's 'fate' seems to suggest otherwise. Perhaps US foreign policy is not the only thing in need of an overhaul.

Is the American election process really fair? What a question. It's a capitalist country and you want fairness too??? You must start with the media. It influences everything. Bust it up. Next is election funding. Vital.

Agreed. The media is the nervous system of any democracy. If the media isn't functioning correcting, neither will the democracy. The US headed for an election where what you learn, or don't about the candidates, is solely decided by the few who control the media.

People are faced with a critical choices about where the US is headed, when they enter the voting booth. What they're getting, is a media that's undermining access to good and solid information. They're getting falsehoods, omissions, distortions, fabrications, charicaturing and filtering of the basic information needed, to make that well-informed choice. The media definitely needs to get back to the basics of critical journalism.

Yep, Obama another Israeli-firster, so guess what foreign policy he will bring? So much for the "change" candidate!

AIPAC owns the "establishment" of both sides.

And I thought that all foreign countries contributions to politicians were illegal??? It'd only be small potatoes, wouldn't it?
