The thing that gets me now is how the swing is back to the drive for control of the radio airwaves. Funny how its based on vengeance rather than their own principle.

They have control of all the network TV stations,
now they want to censor the talk radio pundits.
Next will be the internet.

'Socialism' is a loaded, emotional word and means different things to different people. Overall, though, I guess that if you look at history from the last 1,000 years there has been a growth of some sort of basic political awareness which is roughly speaking socialism. On this view, Marx, say, was not an inventor but a synthesiser of prevailing ideas. (So, alas, was Hitler).
