I hope New Yorkers tax themselves into bliss and happiness. Make the tax rate actually go negative at some point - if you make 1 dollar more than $250K (to use the Messiah's old limit on what is considered to be rich) you would owe $1.05 in taxes. Peace and Contentment will come over New York like a mighty river.
