Cindy Sheehan and her fellow protesters really want to see Bush and Cheney impeached, and every day, increasing numbers of Americans are beginning to feel the same way. I am so glad she decided to rescind her retirement from the anti-war movement. She is a hero to many, and an inspiration to those of us who feel congress is simply not doing enough to end this war, and bring Bush and Cheney to justice for the lies they told the American people in order to get our support for this war, as well as their trampling of our Constitution.

Cindy Sheehan is one pathetic individual who really needs to get on with her life. I went to one of her "rallys" in Charlotte, NC two weeks ago. There was a counter-protest group at the park she was supposed to speak at. There was banter going on between the two sides but no threat of any violence at all. The police were there in force and had things well under control. Cindy decided that it wasn't "safe" and relocated to a natural foods market (safe territory). The botttom line is that Cindy can't handle people that don't agree 100% with her Jane Fonda mentality. Casey, her son that was killled, would be ashamed of this self-aggrandizing woman

How do you know her son would be ashamed, did you know him? Just because you don't agree doesn't mean she is wrong. The far-right has tried to dismiss her since day one and failed utterly.

Sparlingphoto, I think you are being a bit hard on Cindy. She is a woman who came into the peace movement under terribly tragic circumstances. She had no experience with the protest or any political movement, and in her time of grief, took it upon herself to learn as she went along. Her beliefs are strongly held and shared by many people. I can understand and respect your disagreement with her point of view or even her methods, but I do not think it is fair to disparage her core beliefs nor to ascribe feelings to her dead son; someone you have never met and have no way of knowing how he would feel about anything.
