Dignity of Our Daughters, was established in India to help these women.

India - what a strange country. Still clinging to the caste system why? Yet the Brahmans (I think this is the highest caste) are lovely, very intelligent, well educated, spiritual people.
I often wonder, what would Gandhi say?

Gandhi did his utmost to try & reduce the stigma of the caste system...unfortunately its roots run a whole lot deeper...I don't think the damned thing will ever meet its end in my lifetime.....

I'm really glad this action is being taken to help women who end up married to these b@$t@rd$....
