Nothing is more important than helping corporations maintain their profit margins. Even if it means doing nothing at all about a massive climate shift that will eradicate stretches of coastline around the world, spark floods, droughts and superstorms, create a massive refugee problem and plunge governments into chaos. The alternative is global cooperation - the horror!

Willhelm, your truth is a subjective one.

That doesn't make any sense Invictus. The "proof" for global warming is highly suspect. More and more people are coming out against the hype every day. Furthermore, Truth by definition, cannot be subjective. Only the motivations for beleiving can be subjective. I beleive what I think to be true. You believe what you think to be true. I am subjectively motivated by learning the facts and making sound judgement. You are subjectively motivated by an agenda.

I don't have any agenda and you know it. I don't care the political fussing between liberals and conservatives in America and the way they take sides at a very important phenomenon that has already begun affecting our planet, according to their political views. I don't use the term "global warming" because I believe the climate issue is not "one-way", having both the "warming and cooling" and not depends on solely the human industrial activity. It's a collapse of "known" weather and climate patterns and we have to do something - not to stop it, because we can't - to ease its effects and be prepared. That's all.

I respect that Invictus. I do believe your sincere. Just misguided and alarmist. It was wrong of me to say you are guided by an agenda. However, your objectivity seems dampened to me.
