Might not cause "permanent brain damage" but from my experience years ago (personally and based on friends of mine) i think it definitely has short term affects on your brain. Slows you down for sure in my opinion.

Hmm....but I wonder if there's any newer data refuting the clip? It wouldn't surprise me. They always seem to come up with something to try and kill the fun, don't they?

According to this study, marijuana (cannabinoid H20) might even cause new cell growth in the brain

Most 'drugs of abuse' suppress neurogenesis...Only marijuana promotes neurogenesis.

A suggestion which dates from 2005 and which has been confirmed by independent studies (latest april 2007)
