Ron Mueck’s fiberglass resin sculptures cast photo-realism into a larger-than-life glory. The scale of the pieces (Head of A Baby measures over 7 feet in height) is what first catches the viewer, who is then kept by the lifelike detail in the work. It is the attention to detail that humanizes Mueck’s works, giving off a tenderness where a cold realism could easily suffice. </p> <P>
