been watching Kurzweil for years-fascinating stuff-lots of articles at his link

So it goes with information and technology age but mankinds' mind is lagging and ego drags conscious advance even farther into the mire. Education has not been the focus of modern Western society even tho some of the most advanced technological gains have been generated here and that will take a telling toll. I believe we are a very innovative culture worldwide but remain unfocused and uncoordinated save for the internet connectivity and must master our own beast before all the other growth has merit.
