This is a very generous offer on the part of the Brazilian government. And still I ask--where are the oil-rich Arab countries taking the lead in helping the Palestinian refugees? Why does an economically emerging country like Brazil have to shoulder the burden?

Economically emerging. I'm no Brazil expert, but I would say, judging by Brazil's GDP, Brazil has emerged. The growth of Brazil is phenomenal.
There is some deep-seated hatred the Arabs have for those that call themselves Palestinians. I've never quite understood it. Arabs use those that call themselves Palestinians the way Jesse Jackson uses racism.

wilhelm, sometime you make comment which are worth their own separate clip and lots and lots of pops. That is all I will say on your above comment. I won't tell you whether I'm being sarcastic, serious or funny.

I believe you are being all of the above. However, my comment is true. You do not have to agree. However, you demonstrate by your comments on the clip about the tased moron your gross misunderstanding of American culture and political opportunism.

This is true. However, they are still a long way (economically and geographically) from the oil-fed prosperity of some of the Arab nations who have the largest vested interest in the Palestinian cause.

Also...nice Jesse Jackson comparison.

The word political opportunism is an oxymoron under most circumstances. I give you some break on my assessment of that taser guy as I'm still evaluating.
