I got caught out with vista and yes, it is a hassle when the software providers have not created the upgrades necessary to work on the new platform.

I recently had to get a new PC to relpace one (with Vista) that failed. I scavenged the memory for the new one, and had a choice of XP, Vista or 7, I chose to make it a dual boot Linux/XP. Maybe later I'll switch to 7, I'll never use Vista again.
