I've carried a Victorinox Swiss Army Bijou to the past 35 years or so. It's the same as a Classic SD with a blade, scissors, nail file, toothpick, and tweezer, but no keyring. (They don't make the Bijou any more. I hate the keyring on the Classic.) I feel almost naked without it. I've used it in countless ways and it's never let me down. It's a Gentlemans knife, not a weapon.

I'm not a man but I have the Swiss one. I must remember where I have it stashed and put it in my purse at least.

I don't recall exactly when I first started carrying mine but it has been well over 11 years.

But for manliness the two names don't even compare. In a battle of manly names Leatherman beats Victorinox hands down.

I thought the name was chosen for manly marketing but it turns out the founder of the co...

The Leatherman Supertool. Absolutely essential in many situations. I never go out on the trail without mine.
