Politics or Sedition?

Sedition, or is it possible for a despicable piece of dung to be charged with anything more serious than verbal pollution, and using up valuable space where a sentient being could dwell.

I wonder what would happen if a real revolution broke out? I bet you he would be on the first private plane to Switzerland.

Because the first thing that happens in a revolution/coup is? They go for the radio/TV stations. And His Lardness is not kick enough to outrun a bullet, now is he?

Limbaugh hurts the very cause that he supposedly espouses. Few true conservatives are "Rush Ditto Heads" or whatever they call themselves. If the words "I", "me", "my"' and "mine" were removed from the English language, Rush would be speechless. I believe that his outrageous tirades are more a fear that he is being supplanted by Glenn Beck, than for any other reason he may profess.

On the other hand, we can't discount that he may be the "Useful Idiot" parroting the wishful thinking of an inner circle military cabal. The "Mob" calls this "Radiation" - putting out shit to see what comes back.

It's just really nasty, crowd-baiting stuff.
I'm not sure if it's helpful to play the game by accusing him of something that he probably didn't mean...

When was the last time a charge of sedition was prosecuted? What a great case to dust off the law books with. You can't shout "Fire!" in a theater (unless there happens to be one, of course), as every TV lawyer show viewer knows, but again when did somebody ever get away with it? Why and how has the fact of sedition fallen into the class of "everybody knows" but nobody does anything about it? Is Rush "too big to prosecute" just as the banks were "too big to fail" (not a joke about being fat about the big fat joke himself)?

If one of those Gitmo enemy combatants is acquitted during their fair trial at taxpayer expense in NYC, I think the military and many others will be weighing their options. What a bone-headed idea! I wonder if Carter resigned from his post so that Obama can have an excuse to further delay the execution and outcomes of these trials until after 2012. If just one jihadist involved in 9-11 is cut loose in our country under his watch the least of his problems is that he'll never get re-elected.

Yeah, and in other news Lex Luthor managed spring Superman's entire Rogue Gallery with one brilliantly executed and cunning plan (plus blowing up the side wall with a super laser works wonders for the scenery).
