You watch. If the numbers continue to fall precipitously over the next couple of months, the leftist chatter-class and media will frame it in way that Obama is ahead of the curve, engaging in bold leadership, and is not beholden because he doesn't care about poll numbers, he just cares about what is right.

When we had a president who truly didn't care about the poll numbers, they called him disconnected and arrogant.
