Here are the "important" changes to a credit card I have a balance transfer with:

"If you pay late or otherwise fail to comply with any other terms of the “Default Rate” section of your Agreement, the rate that will apply will now be a variable rate. We are also making other changes to the “Default Rate” section.

We are changing the day of the month your payment is due. Your Payment Due Date will be earlier, but it will still continue to be at least 25 days from the Closing Date shown on your statement."

And here is the kicker:

“Default Rate. Each time you do not make a required payment on time (a “Default Rate Event”), we may increase the standard Annual Percentage Rates for purchases, ...

Be careful people. It's easy to get caught up in work and home responsibilities and be late with your payments. At least my credit card company has not done this to me--yet. But they do studies on the average customer and most are late at one point or another, and they change the date your payment is due (tricky, tricky, cause how many people don't read those important notices? READ THEM, and put an alarm on your pc to remind you to get out that payment--EARLY.
