Thanks. They are cool, but they are so perfectly separated among the colors, it seems like that can't be real....even real dye injection. Technology, a wonderful thing.

I think it could work .. easter egg principle, start with the lightest color and gradually move on. With injection sites being so small, I wouldn't think the colors would spread through the flower very evenly .. although admittedly I don't actually know

Yes, they're real! The signage at the event explained that the flowers hail from the Netherlands, and that the multi-hued effect is created by injecting various dyes into the stems during the growing process. The effect is very surreal, like a wedding bouquet a Deadhead might carry. Does anyone out there have any more information about these wild and crazy roses?
