“At the end of the day, David Letterman’s show is David Letterman’s show, but as Jay Leno recently pointed out, by being overtly political either way, you alienate half of the country. As someone who has always been a fan of David Letterman, I have become more and more disappointed and yes, dare I say disgusted about his attitude toward Sarah Palin and her daughters. Is it too much to ask to leave a 14-year-old girl out of a late-night joke? Apparently in today’s media, yes it is, especially when it is the daughter of a Republican politician.”

“Firing Mr. Letterman would send a clear message that CBS will not tolerate any of its employees — even an established media figure like Mr. Letterman — making demeaning and degrading comments about women.”

Thank you for defending women COT. I hope you will continue to monitor these abuses by ALL men with a national audience---- and you know it's a very long list.
The National Organization of Women has added Letterman to their Hall of Shame. http://www.now.org/issues/media/hall-of-shame/

Mr. Letterman should be ashamed of himself. How low does a person have to stoop to get a laugh.

He has obviously gotten too big for himself.

You Mr. Letterman are a "comic whore" who would try to get a laugh at the expense of anyone, even your own family. What about Alex? What does your comment say about his character? How does his family view this? You are a toothless idiot who clearly has a sick facination with Sara Palin and you are in dire need of help. Further I will not purchace any products that sponsor your show!!!

While David Letterman has kept his personal life under wraps until recently, he must remember that the day is coming when his son will surely make a mistake and because of his father, it will be public. I hope that Mr. Letterman will have to endure the pain that certainly Sarah Palin feels by her own flesh and blood being used as humor by a tastless late night comic. Used to think you were funny, now you are just pathetic.

Dave Letterman Thinks he is a person to judge a person and make such remarks as he did about Palins daughter. It took him how many years to marry the woman who bore his son. When his Son is old enough to know right from wrong he won't learn it from his father. I think he is a pig and acts like a child hisself. What is worst he knew what he was suppose to say before he even went on the show.
APOLOGIZE YOU JERK.
