He's still alive? AMAZING! Theres nothing new about this. He's been doing it since the 70's. I guess we have become so "everything correct" in this country, that anything fun and exciting is out. Back in the day, me and a couple of buddies would meet on Sunday mornings. We would get really stoned and watch Earnest Angley. We used to put our hands against his and LAUGH our butts off while he healed us. "EVIL DEMON COME OUT'AH!" "THANK YA JESUS'AH!" he always put an "ah" at the end of everything. Then we would watch Lost in Space. Dr Smith was always good for a laugh too. "YOU BUMBLING BOOBIE!" I think he actually penned the now famous phrase "PA LEEZE" I say leave ol Earnest alone. I'm sure h...

Did he "cure" anything? He cast out "devils"! Obviously he knew nothing about biology or microbiology. Me thinks a god would know about microbiology, don't you think?

But since there's no actual evidence of Jesus (except in folklore) it is entirely plausible that his feats were just that, folklore.

Have you noticed that in the story, none of the healed or "brought back to life" ever showed up to defend him at his crucifixion? Where were these multitudes he fed with a loaf and a fish? Where was the blind man he made see? The leper, the sick made well?

No, if he were her...

But wait, don't most religious nuts believe that god sent aids as a punishment? Why would Jesus cure it then?

GOD didn't send aids as a punishment he is letting the devil see who he can get to believe that there is not a god or god is not real.. So the devil trying to do what he can to get everybody he can while he still have time

β€œIs God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

I used to scream the same arguments until realized how selfish human beings are. We eat junk foods, lust for money, murder and rape and you blame God? We dump chemicals in the water, feed animals waste and eat the sick slaughtered dying cows and you blame God for cancer?

Maybe your definition of God is different than mine, but how can anybody look at the world and blame the Ultimate Force that Is for how it turned out?

GOD IS and we are a part of that so when the bible says SIN is what separates us from HIM that is exactly what it means. When we separate ourselves from the way things are then we die.

It doesn't matter what religion you preach or what you believe in. It is all one in the s...

The bible says Jesus was without sin, and he too died. And he's supposedly the closest to the bible god, even a part of him; and yet he died. So...

The bible's not right.

If this person is hungry then feed them.
We can't make mana fall from the sky, but god can. So....

Where's the mana?

Jesus was the Son of God like we are all Son's of God.
Can we do magic tricks like feeding 5,000 people from a loaf of bread?

The bible says you can what Jesus did and more, if...

Funny - in the New Testament that I read, Jesus always referred to himself as the "Son of Man".

I know of three places (there may be more - you go look) in the Gospel of Mark in which Jesus states that the end of the world and the final judgement are imminent - that the "kingdom of god is nigh" (Ch. 1), that his own disciples will see it and it will happen to the generation now living (Chs. 9 & 13). There are several possibilities here:

The bible is wrong.

The bible was mistranslated.

Jesus was misquoted.

Jesus was wrong.

Jesus lied.

I could probably come up with more, but I'm too tired. If possibility #3 is correct, he's in good company because there have been hundreds or even tho...

You ppl are just saying that cos you want to seem smart and back-it up with scriptures, manipulating it for what is truely meant to be.
Ihave a fren who is a multi-millionair and didnt believe in god, until his wife couldnt fall pregnt & when she did, she then had a mis and he said "maybe God meant it to be that way" he then found out that he has cancer.
Stop saying things that you dont fully understand and looking for proof for things that happened when you dont have proof that it didnt cos you might just eat your words.

What if they suddenly find a cure for AIDS, would you believe in God or would you change your storie and give credit to the scientist.

how can you explain how man w...
