At least the tree didn't fall a week earlier. That was when the Mandels hosted a wedding for their son, Taylor, 25, in their backyard. But on Friday night, a severe storm uprooted one of those trees -- a 150-foot oak -- causing it to crash through their roof and narrowly miss their son who was asleep on the couch.</DIV>

It wasn't the first time Mother Nature had unleashed her wrath on the Mandels' home. In 1996, heavy flooding left nearly all of Lee's belongings floating in  2 feet of water.
