The next time someone brings up "faith-based solutions," suggest reality-based solutions. This faith-based crap doesn't seem to ever work.

Have they learnt nothing from the sins of Catholic priests and Jewish Rabbis? Repression of the best gift that humans have, free, leads to excess eventually. Swings and roundabouts. By bring attention to it, this silly pledge may do more 'harm' than good.

Anyone ever explain to teens that mammy and daddy got married to eventually have them and bang the springs in their bedroom regularly but that the kids - or at least the females - must remain virginally pure. Well, I suppose hypocrisy does come natural to many Americans.

However why should your kids believe anything else you may have to impart, when you are an obvious liar to them on this - wanting sex for yourself but...
