XBOX 360也走進動作感應器行列
微軟終於在美國娛樂電子展（E3）的記者會上發表了趣味性更高、更有展望的產品：ProjectNatal(誕生計劃)，這是謠傳已久的動作感應器。
不同於Wii已經預設好的動作感應器，Natal不需刻意控制，使用了一個放在電視上的相機/麥克風裝置來感應動作、聲音、甚至是3D移動，這意味著它所使用的技術遠遠超過Sony的PlayStation Eye這類產品。
Project Natal可以所有Xbox360機種相容，不過論過去、現在或未來，儘管大家都為此感到興奮，但Natal的正式名稱、價格、上市日期都尚未出爐，有點令人失望，它被稱作是一種象徵未來的概念。
史蒂芬史匹柏（StevenSpielberg）大力讚賞這種未來的遊戲趨勢，他說人們已經不想拿著控制器，聽起來還蠻合理的，不過任天堂的Wii和iPhone不是已經證明了這點？微軟是後來者，史匹柏的確曾說過他正致力於這個平台所使用的遊戲，除此以外就沒更多消息了。
在記者會上展出的是一個名為Ricochet的遊戲，內容是在一個房間裡射擊一顆球好讓磚塊破掉。此外還有一個油畫的遊戲叫做Paint Party，在美國抽象派畫家傑森波拉克（JacksonPollack)那一區動作詞彙表似乎卡住了，簡單的潑畫指令相較之下回應得比較好。
準確度依舊被劃上一個大問號。任天堂聰明地在Wii的遊戲把手上裝設舊式按鍵，玩家可藉此快速地和遊戲機互動，iPhone也有一個快速回應的指控系統。未來的Xbox會用揮拳來取代這些按鍵嗎？
示範過程裡最迷人的是遊戲開發商Lionhead Studios與遊戲「神鬼寓言（Fable）」的設計者PeterMolyneux所創造的遊戲角色Milo，Milo會望向玩家的方向與其互動，會回應活生生的對話，甚至還能接收用手畫出的訊息，這些訊息會被掃描進遊戲裡，立即轉化後在一個虛擬的鏡子裡呈現。
這是很有競爭力的技術，不過Natal的每個部份似乎還是只適用於站著玩的人，某種程度上微軟還是應該同等看重可以坐在沙發上玩的重要性。<BR /><DIV>
