I think they fear women. To go to such extremes to control them they must really fear what they would do if they ever came out and became 'persons'.
I see these men as weak and feeble. Unable to control themselves near the opposite sex. Their controls consume them and they spend too much time and energy idolizing women. Can't they see the more power they give this the more they become slaves to it?

@Michelle, big hugs. I have to sometimes take a break from the world just to keep my hope. Reading something uplifting often helps. I hope you find some comfort.

You know, the men can cover them up from head to foot and it won't solve the reality of desire. It is natural for a male to be physically attracted to a female. I understand some people who choose to either because of culture or religion not act on their desires or feelings before marriage and that is fine. But I don't think putting that individual's desire on the fault of the woman for simply trying to exist on this Earth is anyway to suppress the desire. Out of sight; out of mind?

You're so right Debs. The rot is in their own hearts and women pay the price for it. What men most fear is themselves. They fear their own desires and lack of self-control. It's just easier to fix the blame on external forces than to look within.
