Not sure what that Enderle guy created, but it's not exactly accurate to describe what Google achieved as "they created a bunch of crap". They may not have the best looking software, but in terms of functionality they have many things that are very useful and usable. I've yet to see an e-mail client that can match gMail, nor have I played with any calendars that provide the features and ease of theirs, even though there are a ton of them around. Obviously when you have a large and quickly growing company, while giving people freedom to do as they will, for the most part, you'll have lots of things coming out, but they did create a number of good pieces of software, making it that much mor...

Obviously when you have a large and quickly growing company, while giving people freedom to do as they will, for the most part, you'll have lots of things coming out, but they did create a number of good pieces of software, making it that much more valuable because it's free and they bought a number of companies that aren't so bad either - Picasa has great stuff, Writely is decent, Google Earth is pretty good as well.

And if they were to buy Clipmarks - I'd be among the first in line to cheer, but regardless let's not bash Google for the good that they have done, which they have.
