She has the greatest female voice in rock n roll! It can be disturbing, soothing, scarey, passionate, honest. It's everything a singers voice should be and then some.

It's a shame they never really made it. They sold a lot of albums and had air play, but they wern't like Fleetwood Mac or Heart. Both of which are not as good as Concrete Blonde as far as I'm concerned.

I totally agree googleit.....Johnette has always been my fav vocalist since I first heard her at age 13 (still in hollywood!!!)

I saw Johnette and Andy Prieboy (sp?) play to an almost empty club in gastown , Vancouver Canada in 1991 i think.....totally awesome experience Concrete blonde was really big then, but they had advertised the gig under her name, and there really weren't many people who knew it I guess, lol
