A TV news show the other night depicted the loan sharks as the ones at fault. Didn't mention the policy makers (and advisers such as Greenspan) who set the low interest rates to boost the economy for Bush and his wars etc. As for the recession, I think a lot of it is just talk. The poor are hurting but that would always be the case under what I see as Republican policies.
