Zounds! I guess that's what they mean when they talk of judges without "empathy," but it scarcely seems wise. Scalia is more interested in following procedure than in pursuing justice. Killing an innocent person is murder regardless whether the person who orders the killing is a mob boss or a federal judge.

Scalia is advocating we turn off our consciences and do whatever the State commands. Forget it.

wordnetweb.princeton.edu defines justice as the quality of being just or fair.

I guess that would make Scalia a Supreme Court Injustice, by definition.
