We have never been short of conspiracy nuts and lunatic fringers. Yet it seems that each new generation believes it has invented craziness. Birthers and deathers have always been here, waiting for that tipping point to don their aluminum foil helmuts and do war with the enemy. The causes have shifted but the underlying detachment from reality remains the same.

Unfortunately, they are incredibly vocal, but not thoughtfully so.

At least the conservatives ask questions and not believe everything the government tells them.

Both the Birthers and the Deathers are objective in their outlandish, easily disprovable claims that are fed to them by certain members of the legislature? LOL!

I won't even waste my time going into all the lies the Bush administration pushed to the gullible such as the Yellow Cake uranium caper, the Iraq WMD fiasco, and the "no we don't use torture" charade that was foisted on the "questioning conservatives".

That selective memory really comes in handy at times, doesn't it.
