You know what? I'm a liberal, Christian (not the hatemongering kind), lesbian (partnered even...o m g), mother of 3 teens (uhm...yes, they are biologically ours and we had them when we were married...to MEN), NON-male hating, over the age of 40, woman. Yup....I have suffered some fair amount of harassment online and off, as you might imagine.

However....I FULLY support any individual's RIGHT to say whatever they think, feel, and believe. I believe in freedom of thought and speech. And though I might not AGREE with you...though you might offend me terribly...I still want you (meaning humans collectively) to have the RIGHT to speak your mind.

I EXPECT things people say to sometimes offen...

I EXPECT things people say to sometimes offend me. It actually stimulates me to think for myself. I appreciate that we do not all think, feel, nor believe the same things. What a dreadfully boring world it would be if we were all alike. THAT is a world that I do not care to live in, thank you very much.

They only time I personally think someone should be banned or "censored" from ANY site, is if they are making personal and threatening attacks on another individual. That is uncalled for. Otherwise, I say....bring it on. Voicing your convictions is GOOD for you and....it's good for me.

Where has open minded, intelligent listening gone? It is a sad day when we can no longer converse without personal attacks. If you feel a need to personalize it and attack another, I think perhaps you are insecure in what you think and/or believe.
