A quick look at "actual" history (not to be confused with America being the start of civilization) will show that traditional marriage was NOT only between one man and one woman, but often MANY women married to one man.

Even some biblical characters supposedly revered by god had hundreds of wives. So the "one man and one women" idea is a cultural thing, not a traditional thing.

And whoever thinks that tradition is inherently a good thing is inherently wrong. There could never be any progress if tradition never changes to something better, more useful to the happiness of humans.
