Bear, have you read anything about the Japanese fishing the cold waters for plankton. I was told yesterday that it involves large ships and processing at sea. First I'd heard of it and it needs info before I start ranting.
Another way of showing no respect for the oceans and their inhabitants. If the Japanese had won the war, we would all have starved by now. They'd have eaten it all.

Polar bears are the largest land based carnivores and treat all animals as potential prey

Bull --- I recall a photo on many internet sites featuring a polar bear and sled dogs making friends.

It's a mistake to think of them as cute and cuddly.

It hasn't cost me any blood yet, but I will keep that in mind.

Some of my best friends are polar bears.

And some are just bears.
