It's got nothing to do with socialized medicine, merrie. It has to do with people who put their religion before their responsibilities at work. Like "Christian" pharmacists who won't fill prescriptions for contraception or the morning-after pill. By your logic ("nobody owes anyone a job!), I assume you believe these pharmacists should be fired as well.

My statement wasn't based on religion. If anyone can't or won't
perform their job satisfactorily, they should be fired! Discrimination

My point was that we have some doctors and nurses and pharmacists in this country who refuse to perform or assist in abortions, or dispense of prescribed contraception because of their Christian beliefs. It happens in our decidely non-socialist medical system, too.
