What a Hot, Smart, Lesbian Pundit Means for an Uneasy America

I am such a big fan of hers. You see other women that are out in the mainstream of politics everyday now. Sarah Palin was a joke. She's ridiculously stupid, but if Rachel ran for VP, I'd vote for her twice. (ok, not really twice!) You can't vote for Palin or Clinton JUST because they are women, especially if you're a woman, but because they are smart and capable people, with a lot to offer. How come no one like Rachel is in politics.

Did I mention that I'm a fan?

Rachel has a captivating image on her show, but the times I've seen her as a guest on other shows she appears completely "dorky". Her hotness factor also suffers. I still like her, but TV does work their magic on them. Keith Oberman is another tv personality who suffers the same fate once he steps away from his show. He is nowhere near as captivating and appears very average. The magic of lights, cameras and scripts make these personalities larger than life.

I've never seen either one in another show actually. Good point though. Did I mention that I'm a fan?

Lesbians who have not been too mistreated or have been able to bounce back from mistreatment are pretty likable people. If one is fortunate, they may find a kindness there thats getting harder and harder to find in this world. Of course, I'm patting myself on the back in the process of trying to remove some chips on my shoulder.

My BFF is gay and she is the best person I know, bar none. Obviously, I agree with you. She's had a tough life but she's come through it like a trooper. You don't come across as someone with a chip on their shoulder chestnut, at least not through the 'puter screen. Nope, no chips!
