People do not seem able to make the distinction between Israelis and the overall Jewish populations of the world, there are more Jews living outside of Israel than there are in Israel, in the US alone, there are 5,275,000, in Israel there are 5,393,000, in Europe 1,506,000. Not all Jews are Israelis. Not all Israelis are Jews. Just as not all Italians inside Italy and abroad supported Mussolini and were fascists. Not all Americans supported the actions of Bush, nor do all support the actions of Obama. The fact that so many times people fail to recognize these disparities often irritates me because it often raises a certain amount of unwarranted angst against those who do not deserve it due to the collectivist mindset. Racism is collectivism.
