I heard about this last week and almost flipped. It is unimaginable that the American people will permit Congress to allow this to stand. Orwell's 1984 showed up a bit late, but it definitely is happening, and fast.

It is absolutely beyond me how these people -- George W. Bush and his entourage (even as they come and go, even to prison, and it makes no difference) -- can still be in office making such weighty decisions that affect our nation. I have no idea how it is possible.
