You're right ofcapri, "pathetic" is a good choice of words for it.

This is when the death penalty is to merciful for people who do such things. People to question any religion that preaches hate and violence..

What can you say. It's a system of belief, bred into the culture. It can't be criticized; that would be criticizing someone's religion where such beliefs are based.

We are not allowed to question such things for authenticity of authority.

But deep down, we know.

Exactly the same as the millions murdered under atheistic communism. No difference.

To take the religion as a justification for such crimes is as senseless as the crime itself. Nowhere does the Book says to kill in order to protect or maintain anyone's honour.
That massive a-hole of a brother destroyed whatever honour the family had with all his previous misdeeds and now another innocent girl has died...

RIP kiddo.

The communist leaders who killed millions did it to maintain their own power; they did not do it in the name of atheism.

Hitler was a vegetarian (and a professed Christian). Therefore, all vegetarians (especially Christian vegetarians) are mass murderers. No difference.

Adding the word "atheistic" is an attempt to create a false inference by association.

No one killed in support of atheism. They killed in support of communism. Big difference!

But let us agree that murder of innocent people by any belief system (even a social economic one) is inherently immoral and unjust.

People should have the right and freedom to pursue their own happiness within the laws. That young man's religious interpretations (be they cultural or religious) had no right to break the secular law under which everyone is protected.

He put his beliefs above the law! And his beliefs...
