I'm no great fan of McCain but Obama's minions aren't going to have much luck attacking his time as a POW.

McCain has indeed lived a lifetime of experiences (not all of them good ones) and been put through the wringer. But if you take away lessons from all those things it only adds up to wisdom and experience.
