ClipClipHooray says: Have yet to try this. i've been hoping gmail would add this option............ I know this isn't exactly related, but this makes me think of those mysteries when you have someone who claims they couldn't have been at the scene of the crime because at that moment they were elsewhere. Well, imagine using an e-mail to prove your innocence. "Oh, no, I wasn't doing this-or-that! I was sending an e-mail to my cousin in New York!" and then the detectives check it out and it turns out that at that time you had been e-mailing someone, but in reality, you had sent the e-mail days before so that you could use it as an alibi. ... over-active imagination? where? ... Suppose you send an email to someone in the *very* far future and they read it after you've passed on!! Imagine how horrified they'd be! Especially if there's no mentioning that you're using such a feature. btw bakanootaku it's a bit over the top but I'll let you know if it works after I do it, already got someone on mind... It could be disconcerting to receive an email from someone who has passed on. However, the alibi in court would never work as the header information would clearly show that the email came from lettermelater's email server. 43things.com sends you emails regularly to remind you of your goals. |
