An extract from a West African food called Irvingia gabonensis has been shown to restore leptin sensitivity by suppressing inflammatory factors. In a recently published study, Irvingia demonstrated a marked reduction in leptin blood levels, a reduction in appetite, followed by significant loss of body weight and inches off the waistline.
